On the journey to the Grand Canyon, we made an unexpected stop at the Welcome To Vegas sign, we made a photo stop at the Hoover Dam and we - beep, beep - made a pit stop on Route 66 before arriving at the Grand Canyon. While at the Grand Canyon, we had some sandwiches, grapes, cheese and crackers before we started walking along the edge.
Did a bus tour of the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas and was advised to pre-purchase the ticket for Skywalk because there would be a very long line up when our bus got there. There was no line up when we got to Skywalk. Also, it was completely fogged-in with visibility zero. It had been fogged in for about 1 week.
